  • A typical tuning takes anywhere from 2 to 4 hours, depending on the piano’s condition. Pitch correction appointments, when necessary, are approximately 90 minutes.

  • J’s Piano Service does not purchase or sell pianos. The Piano Purchasing service pertains to the logistics of assessing and moving a prospective piano purchase.

  • A pitch correction, also known as a pitch raise or coarse tune, eases your piano into a heightened state of tension for more stable tuning. For pianos that have not been tuned in a year or more, it is required for a successful and lasting tune.

  • We offer flexible pricing based on project type and complexity. After an initial conversation, we’ll provide a transparent quote with no hidden costs.
